Prime Video has announced the premiere date for the second season of the comedy series Jury Duty. The new installment, officially titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, will debut on March 20, 2026.
The season will launch with three episodes on March 20. Two additional episodes will follow on March 27, and the three-episode finale will arrive on April 3. The series will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
New Premise Shifts from Courtroom to Corporate Setting
Unlike the first season, which centered on a jury trial, Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat follows a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company. The story is told from the perspective of Anthony, a recently hired temporary worker who is unaware that the entire experience is staged.
Every colleague around Anthony is an actor, and each moment—whether in conference rooms or during downtime—has been meticulously orchestrated. As the company founder prepares to step down, the retreat becomes a clash between big corporate ambitions and small business values, with control of the company at stake.
The format remains a documentary-style comedy, similar to the original series. Casting and production were conducted clandestinely to maintain the premise's integrity.
Season 1 Recap and Impact
The original Jury Duty premiered in 2023 on Amazon Freevee (now integrated into Prime Video). It followed Ronald Gladden, an unsuspecting juror in a fake trial where all other participants were actors.
The series received critical acclaim, earning a Peabody Award, an AFI Award, four Emmy nominations (including Outstanding Comedy Series), two Golden Globe nominations, and two Critics Choice Award nominations.
James Marsden, who appeared in Season 1, serves as an executive producer for the new season but does not appear in the cast.
Creative Team Behind the Series
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is co-created and executive produced by Lee Eisenberg (Lessons in Chemistry, The Office) and Gene Stupnitsky (Hello Ladies, The Office).
Jake Szymanski (7 Days in Hell, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates) directs and executive produces. Additional executive producers include David Bernad (The White Lotus, Bad Trip), Todd Schulman (The Chair Company, Who Is America?), Nicholas Hatton (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Who Is America?), Anthony King (The Afterparty, Silicon Valley), Chris Kula (Wrecked, Community), James Marsden, and Ruben Fleischer (Superstore, St. Denis Medical).
What Happens Next
Viewers can stream the first three episodes on Prime Video starting March 20, 2026. Subsequent episodes will roll out weekly as scheduled. No additional cast details for the new season have been released beyond the focus on Anthony as the unsuspecting participant.
The announcement follows earlier reports from 2025 about the season's David vs. Goliath theme centered on a small business retreat.
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat extends the series' core concept into a new workplace environment, building on the original's success in blending hidden-camera elements with comedic social experiments.
